Our stay at Pension Bergfried was a delightful experience for our family. The hotel's cozy rooms, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The location, minutes away from the touristic part of Hallstatt and next to the cable car to the salt mines, was convenient for our excursions. As a culinary critic specializing in Austrian cuisine, I appreciated the local food suggestions provided by the polite and efficient reception.During our stay, we discovered that guests could explore hiking paths and mountain bike trails nearby, perfect for a family adventure. Our children, aged 6 and 4, enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere and the welcoming environment of the hotel. The absence of elevators was not an issue, as the two-storey setup was manageable for us.Pension Bergfried is a nice place for families and couples seeking a comfortable stay in Hallstatt.
